The 'wild coast' is a popular resort area on Spain's Catalan Mediterranean coast to the north of Barcelona. Wild rocky cliffs overlook fine golden sandy beaches. Costa Brava holidays offer the best of modern facilities and nightlife as well as captivating scenery.
There's football, tennis and squash for the traditionalists and parasailing, diving and surfing for the more adventurous.
Possible days out include a trip to Barcelona, the Pyrenean Principality of Andorraor the monastery of Montserrat.

Lloret de Mar
Originally a fishing village, now a loud and neon-lit resort built around the Costa Brava's biggest bay. Suits couples and singles not looking for a quiet time away from it all.
Santa Susanna
A friendly resort with a glorious beach stretching all the way to neighbouring Malgrat. Relatively restrained nightlife, so suitable for couples as well as singles.
Tossa de Mar
Quieter and prettier than some its noisy neighbour, Lloret de Mar, with a picturesque old town complete with walled castle. Only a short taxi or bus ride away from the Lloret. Most suitable for couples and singles.
